My Granola Recipe--- YUM!

Everyone loves my granola.  It is a healthy easy breakfast so I decided to share my recipe.  I like things easy and the only thing hard about this is gathering the materials.  Super easy and delicious.

When I eat it, after I pour it into a bowl, I add 1 tablespoon organic ground flax seeds and 1 tablespoon chia seeds to up the fiber.

What you need:
A few cookie sheets (I like these but any will do)

Cookie sheet liner.  I LOVE these for making cookies and granola.  You can also use parchment paper as a liner.

INGREDIENTS

5 cups Organic Rolled Oats (I buy a 25 pound bag at our local co-op)

2.5 cups sliced almonds (I get mine at Costco)

⅓ C Brown Sugar or maple syrup

⅓ tsp salt

2-4 tsp vanilla

⅓ to ½ cup coconut oil

In a Large Mixing Bowl:
Mix/whisk the brown sugar/maple syrup, vanilla, salt together

Add in the oats and almonds

Mix all together

On the stovetop:
Melt coconut oil (just soften it, don’t make it hot!)

Add to liquified coconut oil over the oat mixture and knead it with your hands

Put liner in cookie sheet and pour in mixture, make even over sheet and pat it down to flatten it.

Cook for 45 mins at 325 degrees

ENJOY!
